SLA – Stereolithography

Stereolithography works by using a UV laser to harden photosensitive liquid (photopolymers) into 3D solid plastics in a layer-by-layer fashion.

The procedure takes place in a tank filled with the liquid photopolymer.

A special feature is the full discharge of internal cavities which is helpful for flow investigation or for medical modeling.

Transparent materials allow a visual assessment of internal cavities.

This printing process is applied in sectors such as design and construction, prototype construction, engineering, education and research, model assembly and entertainment, dentistry, jewellery.

Layer thickness 0.1 mm / 0.05 mm / 0.025 mm


Standard resin: transparent, white, grey, black

Flexible: shore hardness 80A

Heat-resistant: up to 289°

Resilient: simulates ABS

Similar to polypropylen: comparable stiffness and impact strenght as PP, smooth and shiny surface.

Dental: Class 1 biocompatible synthetic resin for drilling templates, model resin, biocompatible long-term resin.
